Tonight I tried to get in to The Sheepdogs & City and Colour concert at the Festival of Friends, and I wasn't so lucky.  The roads leading in were just gridlocked for miles in every direction, and to boot the cell towers were swamped and it was almost impossible to get a call through.

The Festival of Friends used to be at Gage Park downtown Hamilton, but this year they moved to the Ancaster Fair Grounds in order to make it a larger event and to help attract even more people.  Seems they have done just that as the Hamilton Police have shutdown the entrance to the Festival at around 10:00 PM due to overcapacity.

From the tweets I've seen it looks like everyone is enjoying the music and having a good time.  I will be checking out the festival on Saturday if the weather holds up. I snapped a few pictures from the road so my ventures were not completely pointless.   Tomorrow the Arkells and The Tea Party play the main stage!!
